Wilderness: A Journal of Quiet Adventure in Alaska was published in March 1920 to coincide with a show of Rockwell Kent’s paintings. A month later, after a busy stay in New York City for his Alaska painting exhibition and his book’s publication, Rockwell Kent wrote to Lars Olson.
